Projects and Ideas 2026 (en)

At the beginning of a new year, you think about how things should/could continue. I’m not talking about New Year’s resolutions that you won’t keep anyway. Rather, it’s about thinking about projects and ideas that you want to tackle in the coming year.

With that in mind, here are a few projects and ideas I have planned for 2026:

The A.I. Goddess stays!

By 2025, AI tools have become an even more integral and indispensable part of my life. They now accompany me every day and have become an essential part of my creative and organizational routine.
From text and image editing to idea generation, intelligent search engines, image and (new) video generation, translations, and concrete tips and ideas for a more efficient and enjoyable everyday life. It is no longer just about making work easier, but about new approaches, perspectives, and creative shortcuts.
This trend will continue in 2026—A.I. will become the connecting core of all my projects. It is increasingly shaping not only their development, but also my way of working, my decision-making processes, and ultimately my entire approach to creative and digital topics.

The Blog

2025 was by far the most successful year for my blog, which I owe in part to the targeted use of AI. In 2026, I will of course try not only to maintain this level, but to consciously surpass it. Naturally, I will continue to rely heavily on AI technologies – for example, for research, brainstorming, initial drafts, structuring more complex topics, and fine-tuning articles. I see A.I. less as a substitute and more as a creative amplifier and productive sparring partner. In terms of content, I will continue to expand the familiar categories, such as Atari 2600, C64, Arcade Games, Movies – Years Ago, My Daily Coffee, etc. These proven core sections will continue to form the foundation of the blog. In addition, I am working on new categories, still with a clear focus on GenX and The 80s topics – as always viewed through GenX’s rose-colored Ray-Ban Aviators.
Something else indirectly related to my blog is the World of Warcraft short story I wrote in 2025 with the help of A.I. Following the positive feedback and success of this story, I will be writing more short stories in 2026. However, despite A.I. support, writing remains a time-consuming and demanding process – regardless of what some AI-panicked authors may think.

The Art

By 2025, generative AI had finally established itself as a source for basic images such as posters, flyers, banners, and logos. My main tool was OpenAI’s DALLE, but towards the end of the year, I finally got to grips with the prompt requirements of the current GROK version again. Since then, I have been using this system more and more. This is especially because it is less regulated (censored) and therefore offers more creative possibilities – even in the NSFW area (more R than NC-17/X).
In 2026, I will continue to expand these possibilities and implement even more creative ideas. Let’s see what the announced ChatGPT After Dark will bring.
In addition to static images, there is another art area that I have just started and would like to expand intensively in 2026: A.I. videos. Working with 6-second clips is a bit tricky, but editing techniques can already get a lot out of them. Since this also runs via GROK , the above-mentioned NSFW options are also available here 😉

MyBricks – NonLego-MOCs

In 2026, I will continue to work on a number of NonLego and Lego projects, mainly dioramas and display cases – primarily because of the opportunities they offer for staging and visual storytelling. After all, what good is the most beautiful modular building if you can’t see the fully designed interior in the end? In addition to the ideas from last year that are still open, other, sometimes more ambitious projects have been added in the meantime:

  • AT-AT at Endor Base (Return of the Jedi) (based on Lego #75440)
  • 88 MpH (Back to the Future) (based on Lego #77256)
  • Opel Tigra
  • Endor Bunker (Return of the Jedi)
  • The Emperor Arrives (Return of the Jedi)
  • V’s Apartment (Cyberpunk 2077)
  • Godzilla vs. Tokyo (Minifig / Microscale)

Now the only question that remains is: Where can I find space for all these new sets and MOCs?

Conventions / Cosplay / Nerf

The topic of conventions, cosplay, and NERF has largely become irrelevant to me—my interests have shifted and new hobbies have come to the fore. In 2026, I would therefore like to sell my unused NERF „blanks“ and some modified models and consciously close this chapter. So if anyone is interested in a whole box of NERFs, please get in touch.

And what else …

Otherwise, I’m open to being surprised by whatever new ideas come my way. Whether it’s crafts, AI, computers, photography, or other creative projects—a lot of it happens spontaneously and out of curiosity. Also, hopefully, there will be some big changes in 2026, both creatively and personally. Let’s see which ones actually come to fruition.

Shir’KhAI …

Shir’KhAI is the name of my fursona—the anthropomorphic tiger girl with black and white stripes and striking blue eyes. She has now become the mascot of my blog and my entire web presence.
In 2026, she will continue to expand this role and also take on other very personal projects. She already has her own X account for her personal projects – some of which may be NSFW …
BTW: She likes to drink a lot of coffee, just like me …

In summary

Most of my projects and ideas for 2026 are a logical continuation of what I already started in 2025. It will be exciting to see what new paths will open up over the course of the year!
